I Don't WANNA Join 500 Groups!

Does anyone ELSE find the group system here frustrating? Each group has it's own rules, sub-groups, sub-categories, times for submitting.........and whatever else.
On RedBubble the group system is SOOO much more dynamic (and the site is free......and I make more sales......and the people are a hell-a lot more friendly) without having to go to each group each time I want to submit an image to EACH GROUP. Anyone else find this tedious? Or is this another thing that we have to pay for....litterally and figuratively here on dA?
When I joined a group (I joined 6) then my deviations page was SWAMPED! Y can't we just have the option of visiting those groups to view the deviations instead of getting a 1000+ images a day to sift thru? Am I doing something wrong AGAIN?
How the HELL can I mass-delete images from my account also? I've way toooooo many up...and want to delete waaaay tooooooooo many. But don't want to have to click on EACH image to go to the 'delete this image'.......again, is this one of those options I have to pay for? (again, something free on RedBubble)
I know I advertise that sight often, but since I've had so many new issues here........I honestly ask...why am I here still? Well........because I can't delete my images!

Planning the Garden

Love being able to get a new camera that I've tried before with success! It's not a 'major' kind...just a perfect 'pocket' sort...with fabulous macro abilities.
Yesterday out in the woods, the snow has finally melted off for awhile, I was out taking images of lichens and got to watch a gorgeous Barred Owl fly overhead. There's nothing as peaceful to me as seeing wild nature in it's glory. Of course, once it flew off, I realized the camera was in my hand doing nothing to record the moment.

I've been spending several days planning this coming year's garden. I don't have a LOT of space but what I have I use to fill every bit.
I found a mix of 'Crimson Love' seeds....all sorts of American native wild flowers that are in shades of red. They'll bloom from spring til fall...
I'm also planning a 'Salad Garden' with different lettuce, tomatoe, pepper, okra, and other veggies that'd fit on a salad plate. I'm still looking for purple AND white eggplants but can only find either JUST purple or JUST white ones. I want the Striped ones! lol
My favorite garden plants are my herbs and spices...mint, dill, chamomile, lavendar, basil, oregano.......on and on....and also the wonderful ornate AND healthy nasturniums.
If anyone has some great ideas...again...feel free to add a note here!

We've had sooo much fog the last few days I begin to think Dracula has moved in.

If anyone is ever interested in buying prints at a less expensive price...with more of the profit going to the artist...at a free website?

I've bought callendars for $20 that are HUGE and beautiful...cards that are thick and durrable...prints that are on quality paper that LASTS...............with a higher profit being given to the artists who make the pictures.
Well worth visiting this FREE site and maybe even joining it. The people there are a HECK of a lot nicer too. Less of the 'kids' with the 'graffic' language.....

Squirrels and Cameras

I've had just about the worst week officially.
Sunday, my son and I were driving to go to a location where we love to hike a creek, look for mushrooms, or just visit a beautiful old abandoned farm. On the way there, driving like I always do........looking EVERYWHERE........a squirrel ran out in front of me. Now, I know some of you have accidently (or not!) hit a squirrel...but...for me? This is very tramatising. I do not LIKE to kill ANYTHING.....ok, ticks? yes..........but not squirrels. He had ducked the wrong way just as I swerved to miss him. No luck.
I posted the image of this chubby lady up on my main page to show I DO have love for these creatures...even when they eat my mushrooms.

Last night, after photographing some close ups in my garden, my camera completely died. It's not the greatest..most expensive..best model around? But it was still...MY camera. I kept procrastinating about getting another...thinking to be satisfied with the one I had.....and just waited toooo long.
Beware, depression is gonna hit hard and fast. When I don't have a camera to use...I have nothing to DO! It's fall...the weather is changing quickly, the colors are there NOW..........and of course, I don't currently (who does) have the dinero for a new good one.
I don't even KNOW cameras........I've been a photographer for almost 20 years now but for me? My art...works with my eye...not with the body the image is being fed through. I could use a pinhole camera (which I've done) and still get the results I desire. However, as I'm a macro photographer...it's a bit different and harder for me to find a 'nice' or even a 'great' camera for that purpose that is affordable for me.

My thanx to all of you have supported me thru these past couple years....I'm sorry I can't go and thank everyone personally for each 'fav' or even for all the 'add's I've gotten lately. The DD that I got left me almost over-whelmed and hard to keep up.
I've over 6000 friends images to look at still........having a dino computer in the past put me WAYYY behind. I refuse to delete them in order to catch up? There's just too much beauty out there to look at. Just be patient with me, I'll get there eventually.

Does anyone know of a great print company that I could get my work sent thru to get AWESOME prints that are affordable? Please let me know. I'd like to do some Christmas work for my family but can't afford the prices of the art sites to do that.
